Rimini Ruffle Tote - Pattern Release!

I'm so excited to share this awesome, rufflelicious (might not be a word but it is now!) tote with you all! The Rimini Ruffle Tote is such a romantic design with the ruffles, but with the right fabric/vinyl, it can be super cool and edgy! It's available in English and Swedish HERE.

This is a large tote that comes in two sizes with plenty of room. Perfect for a day on the beach or on the town. The turquoise colored one on the cover is the regular size, this pink one is the tall size (MORE ruffles! ;) ):

Ruffles back and front!

Look at little Marie in the lining! I love her!

It's fully lined, and it has a generous zipper pocket and a pretty slip pocket inside.

Finished size tall Rimini: ~17” (45cm) high, ~12” (30cm) wide at the bottom, ~15” (38cm) wide at the top and ~4” (10cm) deep.

The beautiful pearlescent pink vinyl is from Borlänge Sycentrum.

Finished size regular Rimini: ~14” (35cm) high, ~12” (30cm) wide at the bottom, ~15” (38cm) wide at the top and ~4” (10cm) deep.

It has a sturdy bottom which makes it hold its shape very nicely even when fully packed.

I love this lining fabric, I bought it here on MariColorWorld

It has nearly no hardware, the magnetic snap and bag feet are absolutely optional.

It has room for a LOT!

You can of course make it in a cotton fabric if you prefer, both methods are described in the pattern. If you don't like raw edges/backs on your ruffles, cotton is the way to go. This version is made with quilting cotton from Leafy Greens BlendedThread and a foam interfacing for added stability.

I added vinyl straps, but the straps can of course ba made in cotton too.

I made a vinyl bottom for the bag to make it a little more resistant in the bottom.

Faro Foldover Clutch - Pattern Release!

I'm so excited to share the Faro Foldover Clutch with you all! This super quick make (you'll make it in under 2 hours!) is the perfect party bag, easily whipped up in the afternoon before the party! And it's such a fun use for these frames.

And I of course had to make a Baby Faro pattern for those adorable itty bitty 4 1/2" (11.5cm) frames!

The Baby Faro fits nicely in the Faro and is perfect for those little things you don't want lying loose. These two classy versions are made in a heavy, braided look vinyl from BorlangeSycentrum.se without any interfacing. The frames are gunmetal. Lined with red Kona Cotton.

You can of course convert this bag to a shoulder or crossbody bag should you wish, included in the pattern are descriptions for adding either D-rings and strap clips.

This version of the bag is made in a beautiful canvas print called Garden of Utopia from TheStyledMagnolia.com. It's made with By Annie's Soft and Stable foam interfacing for a wonderfully sturdy bag. This one is also lined with Kona Cotton. The hardware is copper.

This is such a fun and quick make, I hope you'll have as much fun as I've had making yours!

Bonn Backpack - PDF Pattern Release!

I'm so happy to be able to release my latest design, the Bonn Backpack PDF sewing pattern is such a fun and easy sew! I've been asked for a simple to sew, no curves/no gusset backpack for a long time, and now it really felt like the right time for it! It fits my 13" MacBook and A4 notebooks without issues.

With it's rectangular, straightforward modern design it's a big hit with anyone depending on your fabric choices! Perfect for adults for work or kids for school!

It's available in English in Swedish with inch and centimeter measurements HERE!

It's such a fun sew! Seriously addicting! This one is made with beautiful flowery canvas from The Styled Magnolia and the gorgeous pearly pink vinyl is from Borlange Sycentrum.

The Bonn Backpack is named after the birthplace of the one and only Ludwig van Beethoven. Bonn is a lovely city in Germany. I thought it a suitable name for this backpack, as it would have been the perfect bag for my piano books back in the day when I took lessons.

The Bonn Backpack is fully lined, has a beautifully faced zipper lining pocket and of course slip pockets.

This next version is made with Tula Pinks beautiful Painted Roses print from her Curiouser and Curiouser collection. Paired with a white vinyl from Borlange Sycentrum.

Much care has been taken to the placement of the straps and bag to ensure it lays flat and comfortable towards one's back when wearing.

It's lined with Tula Pink's "Stone Cold Critters" from her Spirit Animal collection in the "lunar glow" color.

You can see a short a video presentation of the Bonn on my here on my YouTube channel.
