It's a very handy design, and it's quick and really fun to make. It came to be as really all my bags where to heavy and warm to lug around in +40 C temperatures here in Malta. The pattern has 28 color photos, one for each step - so it's really more of a tutorial then a pattern - which will make it easy to follow even for a bag making novice with just basic sewing skills!
It is available for purchase on Craftsy here, or if you'd prefer the pattern in Swedish, you can purchase the Swedish PDF pattern from my mothers webshop here. If you are a store owner and wish to purchase the paper version of this pattern for wholesale, please drop me an email. =)
As you can see you have two separate pockets for phones, one on each side of the zipper pocket. The zippered pocket is of course fully lined.
Three separate card slots and a separate bill pocket.
If you make a Bring the Basics Bag, please hashtag your Instagram photos with #bringthebasicsbag and #pinkponydesign so I and everyone else get to see them! =D

I would love to win and would prefer the English version. It's very cute- I am not very experienced at sewing but I think I could attempt this!

Hej.

Kram
What a cute pattern - and very smart to add pockets for two cell phones. Often, I get "stuck" carrying someone else's phone and this would be so handy. I would like the English version if I am lucky enough to win, my email is terri-fisher (at) shaw (dot) com. PS: there seems to be a problem with your comments section, the "Add a Comment" link didn't come up until I attempted to use the Reply link on someone else's comment.
ReplyDeleteHi Maria! I came across your Pink Pony Design blog yesterday after my Mum downloaded your free Bia bag pattern from craftsy. I loved the design so much I wanted to see more! I'm loving all your designs I've seen so far, especially the Bia bag (so many pockets, so much organisation!) and this Bring the Basics bag. It's small enough for a night out but has enough room for all the essentials! I would love to win it for Mum who could use it to make me a purse for my graduation ball which would perfectly match my ball dress! I love your work!!
ReplyDeleteIf I win, could I please have an English version? Also, I'm not sure if I'm a non-reply blogger or not so, if I am fortunate enough to win a pattern, please contact me via my email, which is beckyboo.98@hotmail.com
Thanks!!
I love your bag pattern and would like to win it :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this pattern.
ReplyDeleteI have completed this pattern but I had to adjust it slightly to accommodate my phone. I have added 1 1/2 inches to the length and 2 inches to the width.
ReplyDeletewow, what an amazing purse. I would love to try it.
